Texas HS Action

A quarter of the season has come and gone and the Allen Eagles are currently with a perfect 6-0 record with an impressive and league leading 30 goals in the gold tier. Leading the way for Allen is Tyler Steen with 8 goals so far with his Bryce Steen with 6 assists and their goaltending has been great with Spencer Harris with a very impressive 2.67 GAA.

Else where in the Gold Tier, as Plano Senior is currently in 2nd with a 5-1-0 record with Coppell and Southlake Carroll just a couple of points behind. In the middle of the pack, Frisco ISD, Dallas Jesuit and Plano West all at 3-3-0. In the bottom of the Gold Tier is Flower Mound with their only win coming against Highland Park whose tied for last with Mckinney ISD.

In the Silver Tier, the Denton Co. Spartans are looking strong in the Central Division, however Colleyville Heritage has won 3 of it's last 4 as the Panthers are starting to creep up on the Division leading Spartans which included a 5-4 win in OT over Southlake who their looking to fight off to focus on catching the Spartans for the Central Divison Title this season.

The East is being dominiated by Garland ISD who is the only unbeaten team in the Silver Tier and has a +23 goal differental through 6 games this season. Richardson has their only blemish was an OT Loss to Midlothain whos battling with Keller ISD for the West Division Lead.

Out West, the battle between Keller ISD and Midlothain is starting to heat up as the top 2 is starting to run away from the rest of the division is strugling to find their footing and get a hold on the Division.

Tonight's big games include Dallas Jesuit and Plano at both 3-3-0 looking to the Division Leaders in the Gold Tier, also a big rivalry game tonight as the Coppell Cowboys and Southlake Carroll Dragons colide in Euless tonight.

In the Silver Tier, prehaps the best teams in the Silver Tier faceoff tonight as the Garland ISD Stampede will take on the unbeaten Denton Co. Spartans in Frisco tonight. Also, the first HS Game at the NYTEX Sports Center takes place in the Silver Tier as the Southlake Carroll Dragons will take on Keller ISD.
