Odessa Jackalopes stay on top of the CHL Coaches Poll

The Odessa Jackalopes have widen their lead on the CHL Coaches Poll as the Jackalopes got an impressive 13 of the 15 first place votes (You can't vote for you selves). The only other team that were able to get any first place votes as the Colorado Eagles got the other 2 and trail the Jackalopes by 19 pts (139 to 121).

Elsewhere in the Rankings, the Laredo Bucks and Tulsa Oilers have each jumped 3 spots as the Bucks continue to stay in 2nd place in the Southern Conference while the Tulsa Oilers took over the Northern Conference Lead earlier this week.

On the bottom of the poll this week are the Amarillo Gorillas who are in 9th place who were in 5th while the Brahmas dropped 3 spots from #7 to #10.

Overall, the Southern Conference has 7 of the top 10 teams in the poll which includes the top 4 while the Colorado Eagles and Tulsa Oilers are the only teams being taken seriously in the North. In the South, after Conference Leading Odessa, the rest of the Conference is separated by just 6 points.
