A very busy night in the NHL despite the Stars having the night off despite the 5-2 loss against the NY Rangers last night. The game of the night may be out east as the Chicago Blackhawks travel to Boston to take on the Bruins as the Blackhawks look to continue to lead the West while Boston looks to be in the thick of the Northeast Division race as the Bruins look to gain ground on Buffalo as the Bruins are 7 points back of division leading Buffalo Sabres.

Elsewhere in the NHL is the Detroit Red Wings look to reign in the Los Angeles Kings who are on the cut line of the Western Conference Playoffs while the Red Wings are in 9th place at the moment. We also have the Keystone State Rivalry as the Flyers and Penguins face off tonight. Pittsburgh is in 4th while the Flyers are in 10th, but just 2 points back of 8th place Montreal tonight who are at home against Florida tonight.

Just one game in the American Hockey League as the San Antonio Rampage where after a win in Michigan last night, travel to Wisconsin to take on the Milwaukee Admirals as both teams have gotten off from bad starts to be in the thick of the West Division as Milwaukee is in 2nd place, however, San Antonio is still in last place, but they can make some head way way with a win to leap frog Chicago in the Division.

They would also be just 3 points of Peoria and Houston who are tied for the final playoff spot in the West Division. For the Rampage, Brett Maclean has been a huge jolt for this team as he is among the goal scoring leaders in the league with 16 right now.
