Tomorrow's Stars Game and The weeks Rankings

I won't be doing my usual twitter updates during the Stars game against the Nashville Preadtors tomorrow night because i'm going to be at the game tomorrow night. Now I don't have a phone that use the twitter and facebook capiblitys to update the game. So look for a game report sometime on Thursday.

Look for the new CHL Rankings to come out tomorrow. In the mean time, here's the current rankings.

The new rankings for the CHL came out today and the Calgary Hitmen for the 2nd straight week as they will hold on the #1 rankings. For the biggest jumper, it was the Drummondville Voltigeurs who jumped from #5 to #2 while the London Knights jumped 4 spots where they now at #6 after being at #10 last week. Also we have 3 new teams up in the polls now as the Kitchener Rangers at 7, Vancouver Giants at 8 and the Rouyn-Nornda Huskies at 10 round out this weeks poll.

CJHL Rankings

In the CJHL Rankings, the Spruce Groove Saints have moved up as the new #1, after being dominated by BCHL Teams the first month of the season. The Vernon Vipers drop to #3 while the Penticton Vees are currently in 4th. As for the biggest drop, the AJHL'S Brooks Bandits have dropped from 6 to 10 which helps the Bonnyville Pontiacs (AJHL) move up 5 spots and the Georgetown Raiders (OJAHL) moved up 3 spots. The newest team to jump up is the Abitibi Eskimos (NOJHL) at #13.

After the first week of NCAA Games, the Redhawks from the Miami of Ohio are the new #1 in the country after winning both of their games at St. Cloud State with 28 first place votes. 4 teams have entered the rankings as Bemijdi State, Mass.-Lowell, Nebraska-Omaha and Alaska are now in ranked 15-19. Denver who was the #1 during the preseason is now down to 3, Vermont was able to move up 3 places to 11 and St. Cloud State dropped from 15 to 19 in the rankings.
