This weeks Junior and College Rankings

Here's this weeks rankings for the Junior and College Rankings. The CJHL and NCAA rankings are now out while the CHL rankings won't come out till Wednesday.

Major Junior Rankings

Here's the current Major Junior Rankings till the new ones come out on Wednesday. Records of when the Rankings came out on Wedesnday.

Canadiean Jr. A Rankings

Not much changed at the top for this weeks Jr. A Rankings in Canada. The top 5 teams remain unchanged as the Spruce Groove Saints continue to be the top team with a great week with 5 straight wins and to go to a very strong 14-0-1 record and the best overall record in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Other changes include 4 new teams getting into the rankings. These are the New Market Hurricanes (CCHL), Woodstock Slammers (MJAHL), Surrey Eagles (BCHL), and the Abitibi Eskoimos (NOJHL) are jumping up in the rankings.

As for teams heading down, the Bonnyville Ponntiacs move down 3 spots from 6 to 9 which allowed the Georgetown Raiders (OJAHL), Pembrooke Lumber Kings (CJAHL), and the Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL) all moving up 1 spot each. Some of the Honorable mentions include the Powell River Kings (BCHL) and the Wellington Dukes (CCHL).

NCAA Rankings

Here's the rankings for the NCAA, and the Miami of Ohio Redhawks have dominated the rankings with 46 first place votes and keep their #1 spot by a wide margin. A shakeup as North Dakota has moved up from #4 to #2 after a while Boston University has dropped a spot from 2 to 3. Despite having the week off, Chris Brown's Michigan team has been able to keep it's #5 ranking while teams like Cornell and Yale haven't yet hit the ice.

Lower down the rankings, some teams like Nebraska-Omaha and Wisconsin were the biggest movers as both teams moved 4 spots up. As for newly ranked teams, we have 2 of them this week Minnesota Duluth and Colorado College have moved up to 18 and 19 on the rankings.
