Even though the Dallas Stars are off tonight. They will be plenty of Twitter Updates tonight as it's a busy night of Southwest Hockey Action. The highlights tonight include the start of the Central Hockey League Season which includes 2 very high profile rivalries as the Texas Brahmas VS. Allen Americans will face off from the Allen Event Center as the Americans will raise their Conference Champion Banner that they won from last year.
Also tonight is the Border Rivalry as the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and Laredo Bucks will faceoff.
Elsewhere, we have another battle between the Houston Aeros and Oklahoma City Barons try to win their first game in franchise history tonight after losing twice against Houston and Chicago last weekend. In addition to the Aeros & Barons is the San Antonio Rampage will take on the Peoria Rivermen tonight as well.
Finally in the Junior Ranks is the Topeka Roadrunners traveling south to Amarillo. Texas will faceoff against New Mexico for the very first time in their history. While Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi will continue in Northwest Texas as well.
