For the U.S.A. 29 players will meet up for a weekend prep camp in Ann Arbor, Michigan to get an idea on who will get to play for the USA Team for the World Junior Hockey Championshps later this month.
As for Southwest based players, Chris Brown from the Michigan Wolverirens has made it to the prelim roster, in add as well as Matt Donovan from Edmond, Oklahoma who plays for the Denver University Pionners have made it to the roster of wearing the Team USA roster coming up in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The Americans are looking to get back on the medal stand as the team has been shutout the last 2 seasons, last year the Americans were shocked by Slovakia in the Quarterfinals last season. In all, the Americans are bringing 2 goalies, 11 defensemen, and 16 forwards.
