The Details are starting to come out on the Dallas Stars who are head to Charlottentown, PEI to begin the 2010 Training Camp this September which will be at the Cari Center from September 17-20.
Events include several practices which will be at the Machlaugin Arena, an inter-squad game which will be at the Charlottentown Civic Center which is home to the PEI Rockets (QMJHL) which should be the highlight of the time for the fans. Also for PEI Natives Brad Richards and Steve Ott it's a chance to impress in front of their home town fans.
PEI Schedule
September 17:
Thursday Morning: Physicals and early season testing, then leave for PEI shortly afterward.
Thursday Afternoon: Leave for Charlottentown, PEI then have the first practice Thursday Night.
September 18
2 Practices: 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon
September 19
Morning Practice then the Inter squad Game at the Charlottentown, PEI,
September 20
Short Workout then leave back for D/FW to prepare for the Pre-season Schedule which begin on September 22.

The Dallas Stars announced today that the Hockey Club will open its 2010 Training Camp in Charlottentown, PEI, Canada. PEI is the home province for both Brad Richards (born in Murray Harbour) and Steve Ott (Born in Summerside).
"Were very excited to start 2010 Training Camp in PEI," said Stars Assistant GM Frank Provenzano. "Clifford Lee and Wayne Long worked very hard to put this deal together. We are very looking forward to bringing the Dallas Stars to PEI."

Today's exciting announcement further reinforces our position in the event attraction market place. Our community looks forward to welcoming the Dallas Stars and extending our warm hospitality."
The Stars will hold their physicals and testing on the morning of Friday, September 17 before leaving for PEI. Dallas first practice in Charlottentown will be on Saturday September 18, with on ice training sessions held at the Maclauchlan Arena at the Cari Complex, which features two sheets of NHL Regulation Ice. All practice sessions will be open to the public with the times to be determined.
The Teams will skate for three days (September 17-20) and will also hold an inter-squad scrimmage on Sunday, September 19, at the Charlottentown Civic Center. Tickets will start becoming available on July 12. The Stars will return home to Dallas on September 20, in time to begin NHL pre-season play that next evening when the Tampa Bay Lighting come to the American Airlines Center.
The Stars 2010-2011 regular season schedule will begin October 8 on the road against New Jersey.
