With the AT&T Metroplex HS Hockey Playoffs starting tomorrow night and we are already into the postseason in the Houston Area. Here's a look at how the playoffs are shaking up in Dallas and Houston as the race for the AT&T Metroplex HS Hockey Championship.
Also the race for State Tournament Births and the first ever USA Hockey HS Hockey National Championship Tournament that will be taking place in Mid April.
In the Dallas Area, the league is divided into 2 Tiers as the Gold Tier will have 8 of their 10 teams making the playoffs. While the Silver Tier will have 12 of the 17 teams making the playoffs in the Lower Tier.
If you ask me as well, the Silver Tier is going to have the better drama as the Gold Tier for the most part has been pretty straight forward this season. Also in the Both Tiers, the teams only played 23 games out of 24 due to the Snowstorm that cancelled action back on 2/11. The following games were eventually cancelled after the record snowstorm last month.
I should be at the AT&T Metroplex HS Hockey Championship Games on March 24 which will be at the Dr. Pepper Starcenter in Farmers Branch Starcenter. Also look for updates on HS Sports Shows like HS Game Time on WFAA Channel 8 and on High School Spotlight on FSN hosted by Neil Beasley.
