This Weeks Shows and Podcast's

Because of Game 1 of the World Series tonight, they are plans not to have a Defending Bid D Live Podcasts as they usually do on Wednesday Nights, they have been nothing announced on when the next show will be.

To see more of the work done by people like Pat Iversen and Brandon Whorley amongst others. Plus you can add your own stuff in their Fan post and Fan Shots Segments as well.

On this weeks edition of the Puck Podcast. A number of controversial hits dominate the first part of the show which resulted in major injuries and some suspensions. This Weeks Hockey Shows

On the most recent editions to the Puck Podcast, Eddie and Doug talk about some controversial hits that have resulted in some of the 1st big suspensions of the year. An amazing debut for Edmonton Oilers and last year's Major Junior Player of the Year Jordan Eberle and a pair of homecomings for Mike Modano and Simon Gagne as they played their first game with new teams.

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution we have Atlanta Thrashers Beat Writer Chris Vivlamore to talk about the Atlanta Thrashers. Plus your emails and posts, as well as putting Mike Riberio in the penalty box after his ordeal over the weekend.

October 15 Episode

On the Pipeline Show back on Saturday, the hosts take a look at some of the big news from Friday's Junior & NCAA Games. Plus interviews from 2011 NHL Draft Prospect Tyler Biggs who's a member of the USNTDP, also we head to Minnesota to talk to Brad Elliot Scholssman about the opening of the new Bemijdi State University Arena.

 Plus they will talk to the Color Commentator of one of the major contenders in the OHL as Kitchener Rangers Broadcaster Mike Farewell talks about how the Rangers have done with out 2 of their most prominent players that have gone to the NHL in Jeff Skinner who's 20 goals in the playoffs last year almost knocked off the powerhouse Windsor Spitfires in last year's OHL Semifinals.

You can listen to the The Pipeline Show twice a week. On Tuesday Nights, check them out from 8-10 PM. Then on Saturday Mornings, it's from 10 AM-12 PM.

Due to Tuesday's Edmonton Oil Kings Game against the Kootenay Ice, they was no Tuesday Night show this week. So the next show will be this Saturday at 10:00 AM CDT.

The latest edition of Defending Big D Live will be going on tonight at 7:30 PM as the guys at Defending Big D will talk about their current Road Trip to Florida and some big issues reguarding the Stars, including how to increase attendance and in-game experience for the Stars.

Also, Mike Heika is going to be a special guest tonight as he is traveling with the team in Florida as the Stars get ready for their game against the Florida Panthers tomorrow night.

Hockey Podcasts and Shows

On the season opening edition of the Puck Podcast, the Podcast celebrates the return of regular season hockey as the preseason is now over with. On this weeks edition, we have a goal by Jordan Erberle that will be an early candidate for goal of the year and what a way to score your very first NHL Goal. Also a couple of iffy calls on the first couple of nights of the season and a very scary moment involving Atlanta Thrashers Goalie Ondrej Pavelec as well. In addition to the Puck Podcast, Defending Big D had their first episode of "Big D Live" of the season. This hour long Podcast takes a look at everything Dallas Stars related by one of the most Stars Websites around.

Be sure to follow all sorts of special guests over the course of the season including Mike Heika who will be a regular guests on the show as well. On this weeks show, they take you through the ends and outs of the first two wins over the New Jersey Devils and NY Islanders over the weekend.

The Pipeline Show has recently added a 2nd weekly show on Saturday Mornings. On the show back on Tuesday. Dean Millard and Guy Fleming talk about a players story going from Ohio State to the WHL's Prince George Cougars, CHL Insider Sam Cosentino talks about some of the top players in the Major Junior Ranks.

Also this weeks NHL Draft Prospect is Oshawa Generals Forward Boone Jenner as he has taken him game to the next level by improving his D and a great goal he scored on the opening weekend of the OHL Season.

Puck Podcast: September 18 Episode

This weeks Puck Podcast Show will have more drama from the never-ending saga of the IIya Kovalchuk trade where some major penalties have occurred for the Devils as they tried to get around the salary cap. We also have a coach who's demise has been exaggerated, a false report of a former coach who reportedly died, but didn't.

News regarding on who the captain will be in both Vancouver & Montreal. The Igloo in Pittsburgh which will probably be torn down pretty soon. Reports that Ottawa will be hosting the 2012 NHL All Star Game as a part of the team's 20th anniversary, also we have a Northwest Division Preview (CGY, COL, EDM, MIN, VAN), plus lots & lots of emails this week. Including an angry rant from a Stars Fan as well.

With NHL Training Camps getting ready to open, Eddie & Doug take a look at the Atlantic Division which includes the defending Eastern Conference Champion Philadelphia Flyers. A quick review of the NHL 2011 Video Game that came out on September 7 and details on how you can get involved in both NHL 2011 Leagues and fantasy hockey leagues as well.

This week began the Division Previews as the Podcast will preview the Northeast Division as the first Division go under the microscope as the show will take a look at each of the league's 6 Divisions until the start of the regular season on September 8. Also on the show as the IIya Kovalchuk contract saga, a current NHL Goalie that could be facing Jail Time and discussions to possibly start up a Women's Professional Hockey League in Canada and the Northern Part of the USA.

Puck Podcast: August 14 Episode

On this weeks show of the Puck Podcast, the arbitration ruling of IIya Kovalchuk is discussed after the 17 year deal was voided and continues as the show takes a look at other possible controversial contracts.

Also another NHL Player gets married to TV Star Hillary Duff, a player maybe discussing retirement, an embarrassing mistake on the Prince of Whales Trophy after it was discovered by a fan that the Washington Capitals were engraved where the Flyers should have been engraved as Eastern Conference Champions.

Puck Podcast: August 7 Episode

On this weeks edition of the Puck Podcast, Eddie & Doug talk about Antti Nemi to walk away from the Chicago Blackhawks and bringing in former Dallas Star Marty Turco. Detroit officially introducing Mike Modano back to his home town of Detroit. This week we had IIya Kovalchuk's contract signed to a 17 year deal where the NHL voided and the guys talk about sending a message and the long term effects from this both for the rest of the off-season and the rest of the year. Also all the updates on the trades and free agent signings from the past week including the continuing cuting of the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks.

This week IIya Kovalchuk made his decision to play for New Jersey, however, shortly after he signed the deal, the NHL Voided the contract saying that underminded the Salary Cap where he signed for a 17 Year 102 Million Dollar Deal.

Puck Podcast: July 3 & 10 Episodes

Due to the Madness of Mike Modano's Release just before the 4th of July. I haven't gotten a chance to put the last 2 episodes of the Puck Podcast. I was also out of town over the weekend as well where I didn't get the recent episodes on earlier.

Both episodes will have the latest on the Free Agency period as players sign with new teams and different rumors on players that haven't signed yet. Also the frenzy of where IIya Kovalchuk will sign as this year's biggest free agent prize this offseason.

Also on the July 3 Episode, the show's Draft & Scout Expert Mike Murangi helped wrap up the NHL Draft and will tell you his winners and losers from this year's draft, plus a couple of jackass hockey dads who are bringing an idiotic lawsuit against a team in a Junior B Hockey League in Southern Ontario. Plus a rant on the NBA Free Agency that had Eddie Garcia cursing at his television.

The July 10th Episode has Ottawa Senators Forward Mike Fisher getting married to Singer Carrie Underwood, a passing of an NHL Enforcer and an unusual honor for one NHL Star in Manitoba.

As the Stanley Cup Finals get underway, this past Saturday's show takes a look at the end of the Conference Finals as Chicago & Philadelphia clinched the Conference Titles and playing for the Stanley Cup.
