This one kind of snuck up on me, but the North American Hockey League Entry Draft got going a little over an hour ago as teams are going through the early rounds of the Draft. The different teams from the defending league Champion Bismarck Bobcats through the new teams from places like New Mexico and Amarillo are looking to help get their teams going into the near future.
These players will be most likely be attending tryouts and training camps as they look to make the team. For the players that don't make the team, especially of those who are looking to enter the junior ranks for the first time, they will be placed on a list of players where they can be tracked at their high school and Travel Teams until their players are ready to play in the junior levels.
Throughout the day today, you can check out the NAHL's twitter page as the picks are announced. Look for a full recap of picks and who's going where pretty soon on the NAHL Website.
