The Hockey News: G Jack Campbell (USNTDP)

The Stars are looking for defense, so they could look to move up or get lucky and wind up with the Forbort. Otherwise, they'll look for potentially look for the next goaltender of the Future in Campbell, the best at his position.

FOX Sports

Eric Smith: G Jack Campbell USNTDP (USHL)

With Marty Turco headed out of town and no top flight goalie prospect means the Stars need to act fast and do be taking the best goalie Jack Campbell. This U.S. Born goalie loves the biggest moments and has the mental makeup needed to be a #1 net minder in the NHL.

Hockey's Future

D Derek Forbort USNTDP (USHL)

A 6'4" two-way blue-liner who is expected to attend the University of North Dakota this fall, Forbort should help replenish a defensive pool that has grown increasingly shallow.

The Pipeline Show

They final Mock Draft will be coming out on Thursday.

Dean Millard's Mock Draft:

G Jack Campbell (USNTDP): Dallas will be thrilled if Campbell is still around at #11, and will fill a goaltending void. Hopefully Kari Lehtonen can hold down the fort until Campbell arrives.

Guy Flaming's Mock Draft

F Nino Niedereitter Portland Winterhawks (WHL): There would be TV Analysts losing their mind if the Swiss forward slipped out of the top 10 but I still think some teams might be deterred by his passport. Until the Dallas Stars.
